Beyond Frustrated

I'm getting so furious with how fucking retarded Live Journal is when it comes to my posting that I'm really seriously considering just leaving it the fuck alone. I honestly spend better than two hours trying to get ONE GODDAMNED POST up because every time I tweak ANYTHING LJ moves the cut tags on me or just decides I don't need paragraph markers or various other stuff. This LJ post is the worst piece of shit program I've ever had to use, and I FUCKING PAY FOR IT! GODDAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMN!

I hate to say this, but it could have more to do with your windows NT. Not much on the internet likes the older operating systems anymore.

Only two things I can suggest:
1. a different style for your journal (but it's so pretty)
2. try posting into a community and just linking to if from your journal. (no cuts in the community, no hassle... hopefully.

My NT? What's that again? My stupid version of Vista doesn't let me do the automatic downloads of updates--well, it DOES them, but then it fails them so they won't install. I think you're right and I'll just have to stop using LJ cuts full-stop. In which case I'm going to cancel my frigging paid account since I can't fully utilize the site. This was happening with my regular default journal, too, and it happens in IE as well so I'm out of options. I got so frustrated I just skipped everything I had planned tonight after I wasted two hours trying to put up a single stupid post for Dog Will Hunt. My NT WILL BURN IN HELL!!!!!!

It doesn't help that LJ's still recovering from it's server move. Half the time I can't log on, and it's taking two days or more to get email alerts. =\

Weird thing is, I don't know how it put NT on the report--I got Vista, I hate the hell out of it but it's my operating system, thought I long for XP and the good old days of OSs that actually WORKED. I realized when I went into IE that my layout looks really Fucked Up. It looks fine in Mozilla. It's so weird!

Thank you, that's very kind of you :D I'm just frustrated with this site, I've had nothing but issues with it. Be prepared for me hogging up your friends page, because I'm going to have to stop using LJ cuts, they simply refuse to do anything but royally fuck up my posts.

If you don't mind downloading, you could try using SeMagic (http://sourceforge.net/projects/semagic/). It's a client that lets you post to LJ and makes it REALLY easy to use LJcuts, add links or images, and use multiple journals, or post to communities. I have six muse journals and a fic journal in addition to my own, and with SeMagic I can post to all of them without having to log in and out.

Damn, I sound like a commercial for the program, lol.
