May be a bit reclusive about posting and such, I'm having difficulties with my internet connection (again *sigh*) and my sister's two little ones keep getting ill. Naturally, they come first, but I will do my best to make my post dates on time, and try to catch up with everyone as I can. Be patient with me, and keep your fingers crossed for the little ones. I was going through my friends list trying to catch up (because I am a heinous person and an even worse friend) when I read etrix 's post on what I realize now to be practically Orwellian control of reading material and things heading in a direction where books like Lolita will be yoinked from public consumption (OMG!She's underage!) and things like The Naked Lunch will have never existed. Frankly, folks, as a writer of man-porn and a staunch reader of everything I could get my hands on (Jane Eyre when I was nine, etc) I live in terror of the very real possibility that one day books that shaped my life will be nothing more than memories. I know, I tangent, but if you're a devoted reader/writer, Etrix has a post you simply cannot miss. Please, check out her post out here because she has some very interesting and very alarming things to point out. Thank you all, guys, and keep writing the love and loving the writing!

I am writing from my grandmother's house to let everyone know what is going on.

Friday night there came a huge storm that is being called a Land Hurricane : Tornadoes, winds up to 106  MPH, trees ripped out of the ground, power lines down all over the place, internet off, etc. It looks like a frigging war zone around here and my house was right in the middle of it (yay for me *sigh*). I have been without power since Friday and now they are saying that it might be next Friday before it comes back on, and they have no idea when the internet lines will be fixed, so the Soap and all other posting/online activities will be on hold until I can figure something out. And believe me, I am trying!

So, I am sorry for the delay but very happy that my family and I are still alive. There's nothing like spending a whole day in a closet with three terrified and angry Siamese cats, let me tell you! We're doing a lot of grilling to use up our food, and taking showers at houses not hit as bad. I'm just going to go ahead and say that I would suck as a Pioneer Woman, roughing it is definitely not my thing.

So, keep your fingers crossed that they're a bunch of damned liars and we will have power and internet soon!

Dear Makers of Pretend Lunch "Meat":

I am writing to you today to implore you to change your packaging. For thirty-odd years I have been a dedicated meat-eater and have only recently given up still-mooing steaks and fried chicken to try the vegetarian lifestyle. To help myself in this endeavor, I purchased your "lunch meat" slices to give myself an alternative to my beloved salami.

It took me a steak knife, a fork, and a pair of scissors to get the fucking wrapper open.

So, for the safety of all the dear little animals, in the future please package your "lunch meat" in resealable plastic, because in the time it took me to get to the fucking food I could've killed a chicken and happily eaten its yummy bits and if I have to waste that much time I will just go to the goddamned Burger King and get myself a juicy burger. Fuck you, wrapper--FUCK YOU!

I'm getting so furious with how fucking retarded Live Journal is when it comes to my posting that I'm really seriously considering just leaving it the fuck alone. I honestly spend better than two hours trying to get ONE GODDAMNED POST up because every time I tweak ANYTHING LJ moves the cut tags on me or just decides I don't need paragraph markers or various other stuff. This LJ post is the worst piece of shit program I've ever had to use, and I FUCKING PAY FOR IT! GODDAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMN!

Can anyone tell me what the fuck is going on here?



I have drag-queen friends who would like to know how he does it, and, frankly, so would I! And just for the record, let me see if I have this straight...So, we see guys like this and we're NOT supposed to put them with other men? Sheesh! Come ON! The other guy wouldn't even HAVE to be gay, Square Enix provides us with such girlie boys! Side note: I am SO not complaining :D

Okay, a little help here, if anyone can...I need some inspiration, my fine and outstanding (and ever so respected!) young friends! What comes next, I'd like to know--an AU? Someone dying? What? What thing do you hate most about fanfictions, be it MPREG, MSUE, etc, that I can try to write well and attempt to change your mind? I ask for suggestions because I love to write things I never dreamed I would, and I need a little idea shove in the right direction. I'm trying desperately to avoid finishing Eromenos: The Beginning (mostly because I don't LIKE the way it ends) and also trying desperately to extract Reno, Kadaj, and Yazoo from a cliff-edge of epic proportions where I left them in Reno Is God...Christ, why do I do this to myself? I write myself into a corner and act all surprised when I get there...fucking masochist. So, any ideas?
