Now What?

Okay, a little help here, if anyone can...I need some inspiration, my fine and outstanding (and ever so respected!) young friends! What comes next, I'd like to know--an AU? Someone dying? What? What thing do you hate most about fanfictions, be it MPREG, MSUE, etc, that I can try to write well and attempt to change your mind? I ask for suggestions because I love to write things I never dreamed I would, and I need a little idea shove in the right direction. I'm trying desperately to avoid finishing Eromenos: The Beginning (mostly because I don't LIKE the way it ends) and also trying desperately to extract Reno, Kadaj, and Yazoo from a cliff-edge of epic proportions where I left them in Reno Is God...Christ, why do I do this to myself? I write myself into a corner and act all surprised when I get there...fucking masochist. So, any ideas?

Those are two pairings I just don't get. I sit here trying to think of any way to write them that doesn't have me scratching my head and it's like, nope, can't do it.

Frankly, Yuffie freaks me the fuck out...I'm not sure I can work with that--she's too much like a twelve year old boy for my comfort level, and that a pervert of my caliber would say such a thing should mean something! Oh god I used to be a huge writer in this one fandom when I was 14 and I TOTALLY JUST....stopped writing I hate writing now so I ADMIRE THESE KINDS OF POSTS because it shows how much you care.

Pairings definitely can be a turn off even if you have the greatest writing in the world...as far as plotlines I can't stand MPreg no matter how it's written. It's one of those things that's like a trainwreck though, if it features a character I care about like say Yazoo then I'll probably read it anyway *sobs*.

idk lately I haven't been reading anything with coherent plots it's mostly smut off of kink memes and my own RPing. But that's one of my favourite things to read in fics anyway SO it does work out I guess??

Sounds perfectly healthy to me, you get outta fanfic what you enjoy, right? So far, the MPREG is a resounding theme...Damn, the besides being beautiful, the one thing I really love about these characters is a lack of female stuffs...Gotta put my thinking cap on!

I really, really hate death in fanfics, only because.. there's so much heinous death in the games, why muck up fanfiction with it? Other than that, I don't really have any peeves.. Mpreg is automatic lols I neeever take it seriously, even when I write it myself. hrmmm... maybe do an AU of eromenos where Sephy totally realizes he loves Cloud and they end up happily ever after? No? Well fuck, it was worth a shot XD

Whatever you do just STAY AWAY FROM MARY SUES! Seriously! I'm scared of authors who write stuff about them. I have this weird obsession with Yazoo. I read everything where his name is mentioned as long as there's no occ who he falls in love with. Horrible! I would like to read a story with a hermaphrodite Yazoo. I don't know, but I'm obsessed with the idea of a Yazoo with a pussy (blush). This way you can write mpregs where your character doesn't have to literaly shit his kid out o.O! Yaz is the only one I can imagine where it works. He's so feminine. (I love it when your Reno always calls Yazoo his girl ) Just imagine their little babies XD. Maybe you could try it...

Dude, you are fucking hilarious! "...have to literally shit his kid out" I nearly choked! I never thought of it that way, but you're absolutely right. I haven't ever read a MPREG 'cause I got my own hangups about it, so good suggestions--I'll write that down! Thanks!
