Test Post 1 for the Maintenance People
Nov. 29th, 2008 07:46 amTest Post 1
This is my test post for those nice folks who are trying to help me get my LJ-cut straightened out.
Let's Start With Some Centering!
I started out with “Test Post” and then centered it and underlined it. I did these things in Microsoft Word. I don’t like to do everything in HTML because, frankly, having to type out tabs and quotes isn’t any faster than just messing with it until it behaves. Many times, since the centering doesn’t work so well and I need a page break, I will use the <hr /> in HTML to get it—now, when I switch back and forth, that is generally a bad thing (as you can see, since I did just that). If I haven’t remembered to disable auto formatting, when I go back into Rich Text, all of my paragraphs and indentations are gone. Not good. On this post I didn't disable auto formatting, nor did I place the cut-tags by hand, I used the system itself. Let’s see what this looks like today when I post it.
Now, let's see if I get three little "div" tags at the end.
