POTENTIAL DELAY!!!!

I am writing from my grandmother's house to let everyone know what is going on.

Friday night there came a huge storm that is being called a Land Hurricane : Tornadoes, winds up to 106  MPH, trees ripped out of the ground, power lines down all over the place, internet off, etc. It looks like a frigging war zone around here and my house was right in the middle of it (yay for me *sigh*). I have been without power since Friday and now they are saying that it might be next Friday before it comes back on, and they have no idea when the internet lines will be fixed, so the Soap and all other posting/online activities will be on hold until I can figure something out. And believe me, I am trying!

So, I am sorry for the delay but very happy that my family and I are still alive. There's nothing like spending a whole day in a closet with three terrified and angry Siamese cats, let me tell you! We're doing a lot of grilling to use up our food, and taking showers at houses not hit as bad. I'm just going to go ahead and say that I would suck as a Pioneer Woman, roughing it is definitely not my thing.

So, keep your fingers crossed that they're a bunch of damned liars and we will have power and internet soon!

ahhh, you must be in the OK region... my mom called me today to tell me about it, apparently it was horrrrible... and because it wasn't an ACTUAL tornado that did the damage, the government is being a bitch about paying for things... hope things get straightened up soon for you!

I'm in Southern Illinois, and it was awful here! The news is calling it a Land Hurricane (weird!)and the governor has declared us a state of emergency or somesuch. :D

Yes, we are all fine, thank god! The electricity and everything was turned back on today (and not a second too soon!) so my withdrawal symptoms should go away, hehe! Thank you for your kind thoughts! I missed you guys while I was gone!

oh that really sucks! I am extremely happy that you and your family are all ok. I know I hate it without electricity for even couple of hours, and I can just imagine how it must be for more than a day! As long as you are doing ok, then the fic can wait. It will be that much sweeter to read it when it is finally posted. Hey, you could turn the whole experience into a positive and include it in your future chapters!!!!
