A Letter From Afghanistan
May. 2nd, 2009 09:28 amI received this email this morning. Since I've left my unit in Texas, I haven't heard anything about my people overseas. Though I try to email them as often as possible, it's difficult for them to get access to the internet.
Stacey,
I'm not sure if you've been told yet but I thought you should know. ****** and **** were killed early Friday morning. We are all pretty shaken up over it. I'm very sorry
G
Please bear in mind that these are people in the Military Intelligence field who had no business being placed where they were, but because our unit is one of the worst and the Army is a joke of an organization, they wound up being killed in a place they were never supposed to be. My heart goes out to your families, you were two amazing, hilarious, and lovable people. You will be missed, and had G not emailed me, I would never have known you were gone...
